PLEASE STAY IN TOUCH
Please click here for all latest news and useful information for students and parents. Most of our students may be working from home but the SJBC community is very much "open for business!"
As the summer break approaches we have been delighted to be able to welcome more students into school over the past few weeks. We are very much looking forward to September when the government has said that we will be able to reopen, with strict rules in place, to the whole of our school community. Further details of when and how your child will be returning to school will be shared towards the end of August when we have more details from government about how this will work. As things stand the plan is for our new year 7 students joining us from primary school will have their induction on Friday 4 September along with year 13 and the rest of the school will come back in stages over the following week.
We have also been delighted with the fantastic response of our students to the recent end of year assessments which were conducted online. Results of these assessments are now available for parents and students to view on the SIMS Engage App. If you haven't yet signed up to this service please do so. Parents have been sent email invitations to sign up - please check your inbox for these. If you have any problems please contact our IT helpdesk at IT_helpdesk@sjbc.wandsworth.sch.uk.
Teachers have been continuing to set work for all students online via Microsoft Teams. Resources and recorded lessons will remain in Teams throughout the summer for your child to access if they wish.
We've added a link below to a useful guide on how to support your children over the holidays called 'the parents guide to coping with school closures'. We are grateful to www.theparentsguideto.co.uk to making this resource available to us for free.
